In a significant reshuffle of administrative roles within the Government of India, several seasoned IAS officers have taken up new responsibilities this January. Here's a detailed look at the new appointees:

Smt. Nidhi Khare, IAS (JH : 1992) has been appointed as the Secretary (Additional Charge) to the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. Nidhi Khare, with her extensive experience in public administration, particularly in the fields of energy and environmental policy, is expected to steer the ministry towards enhancing India's renewable energy capacity. Her past roles have included significant contributions to policy-making that align with national goals for sustainable development and energy security.

Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey, IAS (OR : 1987) steps into the role of Secretary in the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance. With a career spanning over three decades, Pandey has a robust background in financial administration, having previously held pivotal positions that shaped economic policies. His expertise in revenue management, tax policy, and financial regulation will be crucial as the government navigates through economic challenges and works towards fiscal consolidation.

Shri Arunish Chawla, IAS (BH : 1992) has been designated as the Secretary of the Department of Investment & Public Asset Management.
