7th Project Review and Monitoring Committee was Organised

New Delhi: 7th Meeting of the Project Review and Monitoring Committee (PRMC) and 45th Meeting of the Sub-Committee 2 (SC-2) of the Common PRMC for Advance Ultra Supercritical (AUSC) Research and Development (A Project of the Department of Heavy Industry Govt. of India) was organized during January 30-31, 2019.



The Meeting was attended by Shri R. Rathee, RED (DBF/Hydro), Shri A. K. Das, CGM (Dadri) and Senior officials of NTPC Limited, BHEL Limited and Govt. of India.

New Delhi:   Senior bureaucrat Vanaja N. Sarna was on Thursday appointed as chairperson of Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC). Sarna, a 1980 batch officer of Indian Revenue Service (customs and central excise), is at present member in the CBEC, an apex policy making body for indirect taxes. She will take over charge from incumbent Najib Shah who completes his term this month-end. The appointments committee of cabinet has approved Sarna’s appointment, an order issued by personnel ministry said.
