7TH SCIENCE MELA 2018 CONCLUDES AT BHEL DUSSHERA GROUND

The young minds of the city explored new technologies in the field of science in the 7th Science Mela 2018 that concluded here on Monday at BHEL Dusshera Ground.
On  the concluding day of the fair, the students from various technical and non-technical colleges had a look at the innovations put up by the young students. The four day mega science fair was a treat for the young students as they are able to discover about the new technologies and upcoming technologies too.
The last day of the 7th  Science Fest dedicated to students organised by Vigyan Bharti and Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology where Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehu University, Professor M Jagdish enlightened the  students with his wisdom words.
He emphasised on how youngsters can contribute to society with the help of science and its research. “Today, the youth is facing health issues and less concentration power. They are becoming self centred which results in less communication with their parents and society. Students should know their aim and work hard in the contribution to the society,” he added.
Vice Chancellor of Rajeev Gandhi Prodhyogiki Vishwavidhyalaya, Sunil Kumar Gupta headed the second session and said, “Science plays an important role in our life. We have lost and gained many things from invention of science and it has both the positive and negative impacts in our life.”
He further gave example of Satya Nadella and said how we can achieve our dreams by working hard.
The sessions ended with the question answer round in which students asked many questions related to science and technology which were answered by the experts. Besides, a huge crowd of science lovers was noticed at the science fair on the concluding day.
