Social security schemes: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan begins enrollment

Shivraj Singh Chouhan today began enrolment in the state for three social security schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi by presenting insurance certificates to his staff and their family members.The schemes -- Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY) -- were simultaneously launched on May 9 at 115 locations throughout the country.
A campaign will be launched in the state from May 20 to enroll maximum number of eligible persons with these schemes, he said adding in the last 10 days only 32 lakh people have enrolled themselves in these schemes.
