Suresh Prabhu-led Indian Railways is revamping train travel in these 8 ways

    Humsafar Express: Other features of the proposed train include CCTVs, fire and smoke detection systems. The coaches will have bio-toilets, which is in line with Indian Railways vision of ensuring defecation free tracks. The toilets will also boast of plush interiors, odour control systems and fire and smoke detection alarms. The Humsafar Express will also have an optional service for meals. BHEL observes Hindi Diwas

BHEL observed Hindi Diwas 2106 at its Corporate Office in New Delhi. A tul Sobti, CMD, BHEL,  read out the message jointly issued by the Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Anant Geete and Hon’ble Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises, Babul Supriyo, on the occasion of Hindi Diwas and urged the employees to imbibe the spirit of this message by increasing use of Hindi in their day-to-day work.  Dr. Manager Pandey, retired Hindi Professor, JNU and eminent Hindi critic, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. 

Energy Efficient Lighting Solutions for NTPC

NTPC and Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) have joined hands for implementation of energy efficient LED lighting solutions for all NTPC’s Projects ,Stations and offices across the country with an MoU signed by S. K. Roy, ED (OS), NTPC and A. K. Gupta , Director (Finance),    EESL.The objective of the MoU is to enable EESL to provide end to end ,state of the art energy efficient LED lighting and solutions in accordance with the requirement of NTPC.

GAIL’s first UNIPOL™ PE Process line starts operations in Pata

New Delhi,  September 20, 2016 :  In a step towards realizing the ‘Make in India’ initiative of the Government of India, GAIL (India) Limited has successfully started its first UNIPOL™ PE Process line with the capacity to produce 400,000 tons of polyethylene (PE) per year. The total production capacity of GAIL’s Petrochemical plant at Pata, UP is now 8,10,000 tons per annum. GAIL’s flexible High-density polyethylene (HDPE)/ Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) swing plant provides access to a full range of resin applications which will allow GAIL and its customers to capture new market opportunities as PE market demands are changing. The new process line gives GAIL the platform to expand its PE product capabilities, providing Indian PE converters with the high-quality, domestically-produced resin products needed for both large-volume markets as well as advanced performance applications.
